Standup Paddle Magazine Show Podcast: Ruth Holland with the Monroe County Special Olympics!

Special Olympics Florida- Monroe County provides training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for over 100 children and adults with intellectual disabilities who wish to participate, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes and the community.

Activities exist for those of all ability levels.  Anyone may participate if they meet the eligibility criteria of having an intellectual disability or a similar development disability and are 8 years of age or older.  There is no upper age limit for participation.
