Where do you SUP the most?    
Mostly on the Rideau River, Ottawa, Ontario,  but hoping that competes with somewhere in California in the near future!!
 
What board do you ride?
Whatever is available!  I don't own one yet as I'm always travelling, so I get to try lots by renting or borrowing.  Really like the All waters Rogue Vixen.
 
What paddle do you use?
Kialoa 
 
Have you changed boards/paddles since you started?
If so, why?  Not having one yet, I'm always trying new boards.   The one thing for certain, I don't like inflatables.
 
Where would you most like to SUP?
I would love to get back to Fingal Bay and Shoal Bay in New South Wales to SUP around the coast!    I can only imagine!!!
 
Best piece of SUP advice you've gotten?
LOOK FORWARD!
 
Weirdest thing that's happened to you while SUPping?
Weird / Exciting was having a sting ray flitter his fins out of the water while doing floating yoga!   It was quite unexpected!!!!
 
Favorite SUP nutrition? (During races/ during a long haul)
Vegan Peanut Butter Protien Bars
 
Goals for 2014  
Get stronger and faster for the SUP races!!!  Learn pivot turns, and how to walk the board like it's part of me!
 
Favorite post-paddle nosh (snack/beer/recovery drink)
Lots and lots of water!
 
Your favorite non-paddle thing to do.
Spend time with good friends and family.
 
Where you were born and where you live now?  
I was born in Sydney, Nova Scotia overlooking the Atlantic Ocean!   I live in Ottawa, Ontario, but spend much of the year in San Rafael, California loving the Pacific Ocean!
 
What is your occupation?
I am a IT Specialist with the GoC. (How's that for generic!!!!)
 
Who do you SUP with most often?
SUP with my favourite gurls.  Didn't take long to find some in Cali. too!
 
What piece of SUP gear do you wish someone would invent?
Tie down dry packs
 
What's your biggest challenge with SUP?
Not owning one!!!
 
What is your proudest moment in a SUP race or event?
After my firtst race-ready class, the realization that " I CAN DO THIS!" is what keeps me going.
 
Tell us about the best friend(s) you made through SUP.
I've met wonderful friends through SUP.   They are kind-hearted ladies (and a few gents), with passion for life!   Whether on or off the board we don't take ourselves too seriously and just have fun!

Check out locations before you travel.  There is SUP everywhere!
