We had a blast in Charleston, SC last year and we’re looking forward to going back this week. This year is going to be even better than last year. Clinics by PaddleFit and Larry Cain, and a prone division with the Bark crew (Joe, Jack and Chris Aguilar) will be there are just a few of the additions. The team that puts on the race is a great group of paddlers who just wanted to create a race that they would love to paddle and last year they succeeded on a huge scale. This year’s event is sponsored by Carolina Paddleboard Company. Jason and the crew will be there in full force.

The event also supports the South Carolina Special Olympics, and as you may or may not know, the Distressed Mullet loves the Special Olympics and have been blessed to be able to work with the Monroe County Special Olympics family in Monroe County, FL. This is just another opportunity to work with a great chapter.

This year, there are a TON OF CLINICS by Larry Cain, Packet Casey, John Denney, PaddleFit, Danny Mongno, and Dawn Ehman. It’s going to be jam-packed. Get in your car and drive there. It’ll be worth it.
